Business confidence survey

Northern Territory business confidence is a quarterly publication which highlights confidence levels of Territory-wide businesses.

The survey covers urban and regional areas of the Territory and captures different industry sectors and business sizes (small, medium and large).

June quarter 2024

Confidence: +55% (net balance), quarterly change +1ppt; Performance: 49% of businesses reported performance better than a year ago, quarterly change +3ppt; Key factors: 46% of businesses cited 'Strong customer relations', quarterly change -1ppt; Concerns: 14% of businesses cited 'Lack of suitably skilled workers', quarterly change +0ppt; Darwin: +55% (net balance), quarterly change +1ppt; Alice Springs: +37% (net balance), quarterly change +7ppt.
