Salary income thresholds to increase

The Australian Government has announced the Core Skills Income Threshold (CSIT) will be increase by 4.6% from 1 July 2025 in line with the annual average weekly ordinary time earnings. Effective 1 July 2025, the CSIT will increase from $73,150 to $76,515. This increase will also apply to the salary concession available under the NT DAMA III.

All new NT DAMA endorsement applications and nomination applications lodged under the NT DAMA III program from 1 July 2025 must meet the new CSIT/concessional CSIT where a concession is granted or annual market salary rate (whichever is higher).
