Crocodile farming industry strategic plan 2024 to 2033

The Territory’s crocodile farming industry is an innovative and successful wildlife enterprise that produces high-quality saltwater crocodile skins for the global luxury leather market.

The Northern Territory Crocodile Farming Industry Strategic Plan 2024-2033 sets a vision for the Territory to be recognised as a global leader in producing high quality crocodile products, demonstrating leadership in animal welfare practices, research and sustainability.

The strategic plan was developed by the Crocodile Farmers Association of the Northern Territory (CFANT) with support from the Northern Territory Government.

The strategy outlines plans to drive the sustainable economic growth of the crocodile farming industry in the Territory for the next decade, building on the Crocodile Farming Industry Strategic Plan 2015-2021 PDF (5.5 MB).
