NT DAMA III and PALM scheme information sessions for employers
Northern Territory businesses are invited to attend employer information sessions to learn how the Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement (NT DAMA III) and the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme can help address workforce shortages and support business growth.
Hosted by MigrationNT and NT Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the sessions will provide practical information about 2 key workforce programs available to Territory employers.
NT DAMA III program
The NT DAMA III enables eligible Territory businesses to sponsor overseas workers for positions they have been unable to fill locally and access concessions to standard criteria.
Representatives from MigrationNT will provide an overview of the program, including visa pathways, eligibility requirements, the endorsement and application process, and recent program updates.
PALM scheme
The PALM scheme enables eligible Australian businesses to recruit workers from participating Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste when local labour is unavailable. The scheme supports recruitment across a range of low to semi-skilled occupations and can help employers meet seasonal and ongoing workforce needs.
Representatives from the Northern Territory Chamber of Commerce and Industry will provide an overview of the PALM scheme and will be available to answer questions about employer eligibility and recruitment requirements.
These free information sessions are designed for employers across all industries who are experiencing workforce shortages or are planning for future workforce needs.
