Trifecta of new routes for the NT: Jetstar to fly Darwin-Gold Coast

The territory’s aviation sector is set to expand again with Jetstar launching a new direct seasonal flight between Darwin and the Gold Coast.

This marks a trifecta of aviation announcement for the Northern Territory in the past four weeks.

Territorians, travellers and local tourism operators are set to benefit from improved aviation access to the Territory with new services also including Airnorth, Alice Springs to Cairns and Indonesia AirAsia, Darwin to Denpasar.

Having direct access to key holiday regions improve connectivity for travellers and enhance the liveability for the Northern Territory.

The Jetstar Darwin-Gold Coast route s supported under the Territory Government’s Territory Aviation Attraction Scheme.

The seasonal service will operate between Darwin and the Gold Coast from June to the end of October, four times a week.

Jetstar is offering a special one-way fare of $109 for a limited time and availability.
