Territory Screen Industry takes the stage at Osaka World Expo

Some of the Territory’s more recent film productions have been lit up on the international stage at the World Expo Osaka 2025 showcasing the best of what the Northern Territory’s screen industry has to offer.

The World Expo in Japan provides an unparalleled opportunity to promote our screen industry, foster new collaborations and attract new productions and investment in the Territory.

Screen Territory has produced a trailer that includes films produced in the Northern Territory over the past five years celebrating the richness of Territory storytelling and the vast, dramatic landscapes that makes the Territory so unique.

Some of the films showcased include Netflix global hit series 'Territory', Amazon Prime’s 'Lost Flowers of Alice Hart' and the upcoming major StudioCanal feature film, 'Kangaroo'.

The trailer will be showcased on a 12-metre curved screen at the Australia Pavilion for the duration of the World Expo.

Screen Territory supports productions through a network of experienced local crews and competitive production incentives, helping bring more stories to life across the Northern Territory.
