Funding to upskill and reskill workers
Northern Territory industry associations and business cohorts that have been affected by significant change are invited to apply for funding under the Industry Buildskills program.
The program supports the upskilling and reskilling of existing workers in occupations or industry sectors affected by significant change, such as industry restructuring, occupational shortages or high growth and demand.
Funding can be used for projects or initiatives that contribute to outcomes of higher level qualifications, increasing the skills of Territorians in priority areas, cross sector workforce development strategies and nationally recognised training.
Territory based registered training organisations may apply if there is evidence that training participants will be from three or more Territory businesses.
Applicants are encouraged to contact the Workforce Initiatives team by email trainingoperations@nt.gov.au to discuss their application and project.
Applications for this funding round are open until 14 April 2023.
