Northern Territory Export and Business Awards
The Northern Territory Export and Business Awards combines the Territory's most prestigious and longest-running Export Awards program and the Business Excellence and Outstanding Customer Service Awards.
The awards recognise the outstanding achievements of the Territory’s local businesses, start-ups, and international exporters within a wide range of industries across the Northern Territory.
The awards gala will be held in Darwin in October.
The awards are delivered by the Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory with sponsorship from the Northern Territory Government.
Export categories
The export award component recognises the outstanding achievements and success stories of territory exporters.
2026 is the 33rd year of the export awards in the Northern Territory.
The awards celebrate and showcase the territory businesses leading the way in exporting high-quality products and services around the world.
Winners of each category will progress as finalists to the Australian Export Awards to compete against their peers and receive national recognition.

There are 13 export award categories across a breadth of industry sectors:
- Agribusiness, food and beverage
- Creative industries
- Digital and smart technologies
- Emerging exporter
- First Nations exporter
- International education and training
- International health
- Manufacturing and advanced materials
- Professional services
- Regional exporter
- Resources and energy
- Small business
- Sustainability and green economy.

Business categories
Open to any individual or organisation providing services to customers, the business award component is a unique opportunity to highlight the standout contributions of those who have made a significant impact in their regions and to recognise their excellence across the entire Northern Territory.
Each region of the Territory will have their own Regional Business Awards with winners of each regional category progressing as finalists to the Northern Territory Export and Business Awards in Darwin.
